Dee

Dee is a cinematographer who has lived a nomadic lifestyle for over 14 years. They’ve worked on commercials, feature films, documentaries, music videos and action sports based projects. In the 00’s Dee shot and co-created multiple skateboard related films for Red Bull which aired on television in the US and throughout Europe. Although they primarily work as a D.P. they also produce and direct independent documentaries. Dee’s current feature doc project details the lives of aging Chicago punk rockers from 1984 to present. In 2023 artist Richard Wearn invited Dee to collaborate on his art film “Seismic Reification” which was screened by the European Cultural Center as part of the 2024 Venice Biennale exhibition.
